DICE Further Addressing “Netcode” Issues
DICE have announced that they will be helping reduce the dreaded “rubber banding” by upgrading their servers after they admitted that they were
“unhappy with our server performance”
No ETA as yet and DICE have stated that this issue is only affecting “some players on certain platforms experienced during matches with 64-players.”
Personally, I find it odd that something that would so obviously provide benefit has not been done until now. However, cynically, it could be pointed out that this announcement has come just a day after the beginning of a new financial year – maybe EA didn’t want to pay for it until then?
