Will Battlefield 4 or Battlefield Hardline support DirectX 12?

With the recent release of Windows 10, a new version of DirectX was introduced. Version 12 includes a number of performance improvements – Intel released a demo last year in which DirectX 12 was claimed to be 50%-70% more efficient than DirectX 11 in rendering speed and CPU power consumption.

Impressive but will PC Battlefield players get an update to support it?

Sadly not as, according to DICE’s Producer David Sirland, they do not have the manpower to add the feature to the existing games. Unsurprising, but a shame none-the-less.
